Hi guys,
I’d like to convert my choke directly on to the carb. The cable one is broken on the top, plastic thread and a new cable is around 55€.
Looking for partnumbers here, I’ve searched but it’s not completely clear to me. The one installed currently is the one with a oring.
Can someone be clear of which part I need to order?
Cheers, Nick
1vj choke partnumber.

Re: 1vj choke partnumber.
I've been considering this conversion for a while.
It'll be the choke from the TT600, Kedo have them. I haven't tried it, so can't say for sure that it fits.
Don't see why not.

Ok.
I’m not 100% sure the kedo fits. I prefer to wait for someone who did the transformation. Thanks.

Actually, that part is no longer available anyway.
But I'm told that the 2kf part does fit if the tip is cut down to 4mm.
They're more expensive than the original choke unfortunately.
But yeah, hopefully someone can confirm that.

I ordered the kedo part.
Choke, complete (OEM), OEM Reference# 2KF-14371-01
Let see if it fits & works.
Cheers.

IVJ non original (kedo) choke on the left, 59X on the right.

59X choke fits in the 1VJ carb, the piston is a perfect fit.

59X choke up against the 1VJ carb.

The 2kf item looks the same as a 59X but with the pin of the 1VJ.

Re: 1vj choke partnumber.
Hi, I was working with the same issue, a broken plastic piece of the choke plunger at the handlebars and a worn cable. I've sourced a 2KF carb from Marktplaats for 15,- and took out the choke which is placed directly on the carbs. This is the one with the needle on it and without the rubber o-ring so not exactly the same. If you remove the neelde it should fit on the 1VJ carbs. This setup has mixed reviews as I've read here and there. Mainly because of the lack of a good seal due to the absent o-ring. Will try it for now. Other option would be restoring the choke cable setup but I'm not very confident this will succeed. Cheers, Carel
