It doesn't have a breather tube on the cam cover, but it looks to have the a blank where one could be used.

Gents, I'm still looking for a complete 3TB cylinder head for my 1990 XT600e.

Well this is the problem, it was advertised as a XT600 head, this afternoon I contacted the seller and he thinks it came from a SRX600 but is not sure so he advertised it as XT600. It's to late to return the head obviously.

Well lesson learn't, I bought this sight unseen and had it sent straight to "Enoggera Cylinder Heads" here in Brisbane. Well I picked it up today only to discover it's not for a 3TB (600E).
So I'm into it just on $400, as can be seen it's in really nice condition and the cam tunnel is spot on. The ...

Gents, I'm in need of a head for a 91 600e, I've found a 550 head locally (Brisbane) and was hoping it would be a straight bolt on.
Will the 550 head fit the 600 barrel with a 600 head gasket? Is there any real difference in the heads or chambers that will effect fitment/running?

Yep, i tried 10:50 and also 10:30 but there was no change. It's a strange one and it has me stumped!

what's been done
# 500K's since rebuild
# Engine fully rebuilt with new 4th and 5th gears both sets (both were pitted)
# All new bearings including gearbox and shift drum
# New clutch and plates
# New clutch cable
# Clutch adjusted correctly

I used "nutserts", once the "nutserts" were collapsed and seated I brazed them in, unfortunately I didn't take any photo's at the time, I was in to much of a rush.
