Just a small update on the TTR , well the parts and crank have been sent of the the engine biulders for the con rod to be fitted.
I have supplied a new NOS rod , big end bearing, crank pin and a new main end bearing, i have a full gasket set butopted for a genuine
head gasket. All i am doing at the moment is cleaning engine cases and heads and giving them a very fine spray of silver paint,
once all the parts are clean im on with the rame , forks then rear suspension.

Will upload some pics when there is enough to drool about.

Cost me £55 including delivery postage back to me which must have weighed 2 kilo.

Hi
I keep popping in and reading all the resto post and how well there coming along , anyway i thought it was about time to update mine really.
Been busy over the last 3 weeks or so but finally got there with the TTR so here are some pics.

Bit of acid on the stainless exhaust to clean them thoroughly.

New hand guards, headlamp cowl and front muddy.

Now the motor runs sweet and pulls strong , wheelies as you would expect and has loads of torque.
