What Bike or Bikes Do You Own?: Yamaha TT 600 1984
Previously Owned Bikes: Vespa Rally 200, Vespa SS 50 and alot more old (real) Vespas!!!
Yamaha RD 250, Suzuki GT 380 , Suzuki GSX 1200, CBR 600, DT 175, DT 250, DT 400, Kawasaki Z 200, Honda Varadero 1000, VFR 800, Honda ANF 125 Innova,

In Germany we never say 50T.
In the papers (Fahrzeugbrief und Fahrzeugschein) it is 34L.
Even Ingo never mentions a 50T model... :scratch:
When I will refresh the forks I will make an foto of the manufacturer plate.

Its time to start calling it that way :shades:
In all Yamaha printed stuff its designated that way.By calling it 50T they know exactly wich diferences the bike has.
It is in all still an 34L by plate.

Instead of calling it by codes I would rate just calling it a 1984 Tenere!
Because the classic 34L in europe is an 39E in Australia :omg:
Or a 47N in Suiss......

@ Karl:
I need a new profesion anyway....
Here is the plan: I buy 34L/55W/50T in Germany.
Make them driveable and come to Argentina via the longest possible way around the world.
When I arrive in BA the bike will fall apart and you can buy the rest.
I get the plane to Hamburg and buy a 34L/55W/50T again.... and so on....
Sounds good to me...

I have an Idea:
Hamburg exiting "Deutschland" via eastern countries,Ukrain,Russia(mongolia) Korea,Japan,NZ,Australia(big Meeting there,roasted cangaroo or filled salty)then Chile,Peru,Colombia,Bolivia and then extending me the bike in BA.(but I will not accept it because she will be part of your soul then)
One month based on beer,BBQ,anothe big meeting(HU) :omg:

and carries on

Today I had some time left over.
So I ripped off the seat plus tank (wow! 30 Liters of fuel are really heavy) and swapt out the choke:

Yes Karl, but that engine needs more than just paint. It is running fine and powerful...
but comparing it to the 43F engine in my TT it is allready past the best times.
I have a head and cylinder from a 3AJ lying around. I will restore the cylinder and the head in summer and will put them on during winter. There is no really need to do it...
A few weeks ago I made a trip on the 34L to the Northsee. Ääääh well , we call it that way. It´s the water between GB and Germany. (little pond that is...)
I wanted to see the "Feuerland" .
This is a ship from a great adventurer from germany who were very activ in south-america. Karl told me the about him.
His name was Gunther Plüschow. He past away long ago but his ship was brougt back to Germany and got restored.
I couldn´t figure out were it was via the internet but I just hoped it would be in Büsum in the museumharbour were it was built.
The Feuerland wasn´t there.... but....
the bike ran so well :nordie: that the trip to the coast was a cold :vardy: but nice pleasure :oilleak: . I stopped just once to take a picture:
