Can anyone recommend a tank decal for the acerbis 23 litre plastic tank ? It hasn’t got a smooth surface so I wonder if anyone has managed to get a Yamaha decal to stick to and stay stuck to it .
Cheers

It's nothing special, just a standard graphic, the surface of your tank sounds suspect.... if it's rough or pourous then you'll be on to a hiding to nothing.

My tank is new , and I wonder if there is a mould release agent on the tank . I tried a couple of vinyl decals and they didn’t stick .I cleaned the area of the tank with cellulose thinners prior to attempting to stick the decals to no avail .
Anyone fitted vinyl decals to an Acerbis plastic tank ?

Some plastics don’t like adhesives very much. Clarke brand motorcycle tanks in the USA are made of a roto molded plastic that will not chemically bond to adhesives, glues, or paints so stickers just fall right off, paint peels, and plastic and epoxy repair patch kits for damages are useless.
I don’t know what the formula for Acerbis plastic tanks is but it might be using a similar plastic.
