Doesn't make sense, so with a separate feed to the coil and CDI the voltage dips below the threshold and you get no spark ?

Whenever i’m testing coils and spark the general rule of thumb i follow is that if everything around the CDI tests as good then it’s probably the CDI that is bad. Just tried the cdi with a separate 12v supply.
Same result
Good sparks until I screw the plugs in
Has anyone got a spare cdi???

I’ve sent my cdi over too a company in Holland to repair.
They will have do a diagnostic on it and repair it needed
