Thanks to the Carb tutorial I have now sorted the carb and fitted new fuel hoses with filters. It startet up just fine and idles very nicely to
So I got all excited and wanted to take the beast for a testride

However the second I put it in gear, the engine stops! both first and second gear.
Also if I press the starter button when in gear with the clutch pulled, the starter engine does not turn at all?

I think it can be an electrical problem, but electrics is not my strong side.
I did clean all electrical connections, so maby I made a mistake somewhere??

Any suggestions to where I should look for the problem is much appreciated.

Here you go for the electrical problem. Should be easy to sort out, I described it quite thoroughly.
3AJ has a standard CDI system.

That's brilliant Andy especially the "von Mezo" i liked that, just need a red tri-plane now.

Problem is my version is to big, when i saved it i must have not compressed it correctly? its to large a file, are you able to open & then re-save it the way you did with the german version to save on bandwidth? my version took ages to view compared to yours.

Hi Mezo,
both my versions linked above are around 10 MB.
The one you sent me as an Email attachment on 2020-03-03 is the same size. I think I did not change that, only rename it without blanks for easier linking.

So I do not know what you mean really.
