Been a bit bored waiting for the latest 34L that I bought to turn up so I went for a look at this which had been on gumtree for 3 months at $1500 ono.
Got it in the ute for $800
Hooked up a battery and she sounds nice and tight with no rattles 
Even found the original tool kit in the little box when I was looking for the air filter

The tank has 2 drain plugs fitted (one on each side) which came in handy to get rid of the stinky brown old fuel.
This is the most complete Tenere I have ever bought, the only parts that are missing are the original muffler,and handle bars and this is the worst damage.
I am still learning about the 3AJ and just looking at everything,it even had the original tool kit strapped in the tool box.
I dropped into the local Yammy dealer and they printed out the entire parts fisch for me so now I can start chasing parts worldwide.

Went for a ride to check out Classic Dirt 10 at Conondale and saw this tricked up TT600 flat tracker with a Serco head 
Also bought a nos light switch for the 3aj and a manual for the 34L
