Give the boot and plug wire a couple twists while pushing them together(clockwise), I had mine loose connection when I changed plugs once. Take the coil off and clean up the surfaces plus check the ground wire for corrosion. Common problem and has weird symptoms. Just a thought.

Found the spare coil if it's needed?
Everything can be fixed with the correct application of the right sized hammer.
