Here's what I have left after my rebuild - £50 for the lot, come and collect (near Aldershot).

Brake lines - 92 vs 95??
Does anyone know if braided brake lines for a '95 XT will fit a '92 XT? Everywhere I look lists the XT600E lines as '95 to 2000
I know pads and rear disc are the same part numbers but don't want to order lines without knowing.
Thanks

Re: Need some help re: swing arm
I got a response over on ADVrider that says the same, looks like the exploded diagram is wrong.
Looks like I get to refit my swing arm tonight then.
Thanks for the help guys!

Re: Need some help re: swing arm
Well I'm glad its not just me!!
#7 Is the same size as the swing arm outer which means it can'y go between the rubber and the swing arm. I currently have it inside the end cap which, when fitted to the swing arm, makes a lot of sense.
Hopefully someone else will chime in.
Any thoughts on the #49 ...

Need some help re: swing arm
Right, I am stuck - my 3TB is slowly going back together and I am just trying to fit the swing arm but I am stuck. This is the parts diagram:

What has me foxed is on the main pivot - specifically parts #7 and #49. Now the diagram shows #7 ...

Re: XTZ660 parts fit XT600e?
Well, after a day of clearing out the garage and then tearing into the bike - it now looks like this:

I am documenting the work so I will start a rebuild thread shortly.

Re: XTZ660 parts fit XT600e?
Great, thanks for the info. I will have to document my work once I get started. It'll be interesting to see if I can get the tank and brakes to fit.

Re: XTZ660 parts fit XT600e?
Rick - do you think just the spring or the whole shock unit? The shock, I believe is fully adjustable vs the XT's preload only from what I understand?
I might have to wait until I get the XT into the garage and stripped out the rear shock before I can tell - I have googled a lot but not much ...
