Well, I picked the bike up yesterday - bit of a scrapyard dog and there is work to be done....

Looks just cosmetic, re-paint all the plastics & a new seat cover & your 95% there.

Well, after a day of clearing out the garage and then tearing into the bike - it now looks like this:

I am documenting the work so I will start a rebuild thread shortly.

The plan is you use the front end and rear shock from the XTZ and replace/refurb the rest as I go along.

Fork gaiters are shot, cheap easy fix.

Where from do you recommend buying black ones?
I can only find Pyramid ones for sale on Ebay. They say, beware of cheap silicone. :scratch:

I got some yellow ones from my local bike shop, after market ones, (not pyramid). I still have box in shed, I can look it up for you if you like

Sorry for the confusion, I put yellow ones on bike to change the look. I still have my orig black ones.
I meant I could photograph the box for clue on brand your looking for.
