I had the exact same issue after my rebuild, the kick start was stiff and I could hear a slow gearing noise which was the starter turning with.

I found a solution for my 1VJ.
The bushings are standard parts, the manufacturers do not build specific bushing for each models.

I used the bushings from K-tech:
-Upper bush : 41x15x2
-Lower bush : 41.7x15x1

I measured and they have the exact same dimesions as the original ones.
