Re: slightly odd neutral problem
This might sound a bit crazy, but I often find wierd electric issues is a bad earth. Maybe the earth from the instrument cluster isnt good, and something like your speedo backlight is actually feeding electricty through the neutral light to the neutral switch, and using the neutral switch as your ...

Acerbis 20L tank for 2kf xt600 (in NSW)
I have a 20L acerbis tank to suit a 2KF, in really good condition. quite rare and hard to find. AU$300 or best offer
I think it hasn't been used for about 15 years, The guy I bought it off said he bought it as a spare
Unfortunately my gamble didn't pay off in hunting for a reasonable condition ...

Re: wanted 43f/34L light
tried putting it in varuous postage bags I have. might fit in a medium.
Auspost say AU$41 for a medbag ans AU $66 for large. so call that 20 or 30 pound.
still interested? or that just too much.
Also I have a 43f about 90% complete, so any other small parts you want me to throw in?

Re: wanted 43f/34L light
Turns out the rear light is in pretty good condition. The black plastic has gone a little chalky. and the previous owner used a bolt that was too long that nearly punched through the top. I added 12v and brake light goes, tail light didnt, I'm assuming blown bulb not wiring, as it all looks good to ...

Thanks Mr Mezo.
I nearly bought a very original 83 model tenere instead... but $3500 and driving to Orange NSW is a bit of a turn off.

Crank Case cover compatibility?
Hey Everyone,
I tried searching, but the search engine was not kind with its results. :dunno: :bag:
like may others my oil filter housing bolts have been stripped and heli-coiled by previous owners and it still doesnt torque up nice enough not to leak :banghead: . So I'm looking for a better clutch ...

Re: wanted 43f/34L light
I'll have a look at my spare parts bike this afternoon and see what on it, from memory its not complete light.
I'm in Australia, so postage may make it not worth while.
