ive just been looking at some pictures of rally teneres on a couple of european sites and im now all inspired about mine,so i think my next plan is to try and find suitable clutch basket and primary gear to get my gearing slightly higher with out all the aggro of trying to install a different/later engine, fit later oil pump at same time whilst in that side,i would i have done this when i had motor apart before but time and pennys ran out and i was going away on it no matter what..
as i think ive decided im going to stick with it and not buy a newer bike with a load of electric shit on it to go wrong, that most of its made in thailand or taiwan,im probably gonna bite the bullet and buy an arrow silencer to replace the remains of the std silencer currently on it, i was going to use the r6 silencer i have kicking around but it weighs 2 tons.
the recently painted tank is still fine and undamaged after my recent little trip so i just need to put decals on it,and im thinking a tool box type affair to mount on front of skid plate area if its going to clear front wheel ok.....my tool kit was remarkably still attached to bike and wasnt stolen by any moroccans...but actualy thinking about it they wouldnt be interested in tools as there would be a danger of maybe doing work with them??

despite getting off to a bit of a shaky start ive actualy ridden it enough in less than a year to wear out 2 sets of tyres, which is more than ive previously done on 2 bikes i had from new a couple of years back.

if i was clever i would attach links to bikes i was getting excited about earlier this evening but i dont seem to able to do it with a spanner, ratchet and hammer?
im pretty pleased realy how its gone and that its not stranded me in the shit anywhere on either of its trips and certainly in europe the french and the italiens seem pretty excited about seeing it parked up and a few have came up to chat.
im starting to get ideas about taking on its next mission in a couple of months time maybe and ive only been back in the uk a week.......i must stay off ebay so that i can get some pennys saved.
