Hello. Can anyone please tell me if I can replace the oil check valve on my tt600re without removing the clutch?

I should add that I'm thinking of doing this because it is wet sumping. I read somewhere that the oil check valve is to stop oil draining down from the head. If that's the case, presumably it won't fix the wet sumping. Can anyone advise please?
