Xt600 wont start

Hi.
My xt600 3tb starts on the first kick with choke on. if i turn of the choke the engine shuts down and then its impossible to get the engine to start again until the next day or in a few hours. When i try kick it the carb will float over

The carb has recently been cleened and everything changed inside. Float is working fine.

Is there someone who has had the same problem?

Are your inlet rubbers in good condition ?
They are bad for splitting with age and allowing the mixture to lean out.

I just put new ones in and changed the spark plug and air filter aswell

Get some cold start in the carb when it doesn’t start, if it fires you're in the right place.

Pilot jet issue? Was it changed for a different size?
