What were the changes to XT600e
When I bought my latest 600e , I was surprised by the ride height .I’m sure the one I had ten years ago was lower , registered as 2003 as the one I have now is . I notice that the oil tank doesn’t attach to the headstock on the latest XT, that’s an improvement , no more cooking the headstock grease , If I remember right , the first one I had the oil tank was attached so maybe it was a lot older than the registration implied . Latest bike is 4PT b and lowered by a custom Hagon rear shock and a Kedo lowering link ( the link had little effect ) probably 70 mm lower than stock now and with the forks lowered by the same amount with progressive springs it’s both nimble and manageable for my 30 inch inside leg .
