Cracked wheel rim (DR350)

So finally I face replacing a missing spoke on my DR350 and I notice this:




It is where the wheel was welded together when it was built.

So options:
1. Leave it doesn't matter only on the rim, would drilling a tiny hole stop further cracking?
2. Get price to alloy weld it, although some wheel alloys are rumoured to be impossible.
3. Buy secondhand wheel by post so it'll probably be bent with knackered bearings. €100-150
4. Buy new Excell rim as I have a new full set of spokes any way €140

I have ordered a new Excel rim which apparently goes with the OE spoke set which I have.
