Not charging

Post by M-L-M »

I have my bike running now after fitting a CDI from ignitec great service,
Problem I have now it's not charging I have a black and red wire from the stator charging coil it's putting 180 AC volts from them but know where for them to connect to, the 3 white cables are connected to rectifier, where should these wires go?

Hi there, ignitec?

If it is Ignitech from the Czech Republic, their ignition is battery powered.
The red and brown cable is for powering the original CDI and is not needed.
You can just leave the connector unplugged.

The three white wires are AC for charging and are connected to the regulator/rectifier unit in no particular order.

There should be the same resistance to be measured between any of the white wires, and infinite resistance from any of the white wires to ground (all measured with regulator/rectifier disconnected).
