CARBY EXPERTS
I have the above arrangement on my 1VJ can anyone see an issue with this?
I have an issue that may or may not be related, that being after about 5klm of riding the old girl seems to be fuel starved and stops, hit the starter after about 30 seconds and all seems well and ok. Is it possibly a float issue? or something else....

Yes, it should be as l had the carb rebuild by a proper motorcycle mechanic, but l will take the bowl off and check all is ok inside there

Is it possible that there is a vacuum forming in the petrol tank?

To complete the trinity of fuel restrictions, the stuff between fuel tank (Breather in cap) and carb should be taken into account. Clogged taps, fuel lines, or fuel suction pump if there is one on that bike.
