G'day all,
Currently rebuilding a 1984 Tenere down here in Australia. Having trouble find the rear shock rubber boot and boot support and believe its discontinued. A glimmer of light is that I read a 3TB boot will also fit. But wondering if anyone has done this and whether it eliminates the need for the 34L boot support as there is no equivalent 3TB boot support.
Thanks for your advice
Mark

The earlier bikes 34L/55W had a plastic frame attached to the swing arm, I assume this is the support you want? Later bikes 1VJ on, the frame was part of the swing arm, so although the boot would fit you would still need a new plastic frame.

I have had that part number (34L-2216G-00) on my watch list for several years & i have only ever seen one come up for sale which i posted on "spotted on ebay" HERE.
Not sure if it was Eric or VanAndy say you can get away with not using one?
Mezo.

Re: 34L rear shock boot & support
I made a 3TB boot fit one of my 3AJ's, don't think it was that difficult to be honest
