hi, has anybody fitted either aftermarket fuel injection or the throttle body system off a later XT660?

I have not heard of one but i'm sure there must be? before Tenere i was keen on the DR650SE (the one not sold in blighty) and was following MXRob`s Fi conversion, well worth reading, now they sell kits & everyone's doing them but he was the pioneer.

I would love to see an injected Tenere project bike. :nordie:

The later injected xt660's only had the single body, we have the dual carb thing to confuse things.

That`s an easy work around (he said) using the Grizzly 660 2 into 1 manifold & then mount the throttle body to that?

Plus also (im no injection guy) but i think you need a knock sensor, TPS & an in tank fuel pump.

I'd like to get rid of the one and a half carb problem.
I started looking at the Grizzly 660 manifold and single carb, which has the well known issue of a frame tube upsetting things.
Then you start looking at throttle bodies which take up less room, and give you more options on mounting position.
