43F OEM rear shock servicing?

Hello all,

The rear shock on my 43F isn't at the best working order so i'm thinking of servicing it with some fresh oil and such since these things are not always on
the maintenance list. Or just replace OEM shock if it's not serviceable? What do you guys think?

I’ve been told by Racetech, a top notch racing motorcycle suspension shop in Los Angeles, that the stock 43F shock is not serviceable based on photos i sent them. They said they could take it apart but not put it back together. I ended up buying a new YSS shock after a few ebay shocks also broke on me.
