Seems that at last there's a reliable direct replacement for the H4 bulb in LED form. This one, unlike the competition seems to give a well focused beam that doesn't dazzle oncoming road traffic. Anyone here tried this on the old XT? https://advrider.com/f/threads/h4-led-b ... 8.1286743/ I've tried it on the R100GS and am well pleased with it.
It's been a while since I've seen the back of the headlamp on the X T'S so I'm not even sure if theres space in there for the fan unit and the controller box.
Well, I've had a look since originally posting this and there seems to be very little space behind the bulb in a 1VJ so I'm guessing this idea is a non runner.
