soft luggage frames

Post by donnybach »

Hi all, does anyone know which of the givi soft luggage pannier holders are closest fit for the 1vj? Or any other makes for that matter. I'm after using the ortlieb throwovers or something similar and want to keep them off my zorst and plastics. Seen ones to fit the tiger and xl700s for £40-70 but don't think M&P will let me open 10 boxes to offer them up. Shops aint like they used to be. Don't really want the £200 ones designed for ally boxes.

Cheers

Glenn (member on here) is working on something like that right now, this is on a 3AJ but im sure it will fit 1VJ (he has one in his workshop to test it on).

Cheers. Looks great. Just the sort of thing I need. I could build one in the shop but my welding looks like a handcuffed crab did it.

Hey thanks for the mention. Next week I'll do the other side. Might do a few variations on the design.

Kind regards

Glenn
