i am looking for a lefthand switch cluster for my 1vj, the one that is currently on it is no good, its missing switches, so am looking for a rep[lacement part, also need a rev counter ( tachometer) but i am on a bit of a budget regarding this bike, so at the momant cant afford to spend a fortune on it, just waiting to get shot of the k*****ki n***a 900

Re: cluster switch
I should be able to help you with the combo switch, pretty sure the 1VJ are the same as the 3AJ, will check out the shed sometime this week or the weekend.

Re: cluster switch
I might have one laid about you can have...... I always use the later switches, they're much nicer, all the wires are the same colour... just need to change plugs.
The future is not what it used to be....

Re: cluster switch
I hate to be that asshole, but I just went to a local bike shop 30min ago to buy a 98mm wiseco piston they had lying around, and for 100NZ extra, I got a brand new tacho, switch cluster OEM original among a large number of other parts inc fork complete fork rebuild kits, assorted seals, etc etc. Still packaged. Some job that fell through ten years ago deal, and 300$ in foldies I got the lot!
I can give you my old switch cluster though if you haven't already sourced something?... My tacho is busted unfortunately.
