Waiting for frame back from powder coatedr I had no work for a few days so made up this lot £150 for the metal and 3 days to make it
Have got a 1vj front end coming I need to press off this 43f yoke and press on a34 l one do I drill out this pin
I'm going to strip the engine any tips on what to look for or just take it all to bits first?
thanks for the check Brian
when you take the barrel off look inside the engine to inspect the cogs, look at fifth gear especially for any wear,
your work table looks impressive mate, I may have a spare set of oil cooler with the pipes if you still need them.
keep posting pictures.

I seem to be accidentally collecting yokes. I got a 1 vj front end yesterday with the bottom yoke and stem.
It looks to be not a kick in the arse away from the 34 l one, apart from the 2 6 mm threads in a different place.
Can I use this yoke and stem on my 55 w ? That would save me pressing the 43f stem out and in to the 34 l yoke
This is my 1vj fork leg on the right. The caliper mounts are different, is a 1 vj caliper the same as a 55 w one?
There is one on eBay for £60
I'm trying to accumulate all the right bits whilst utilising my remedial computer skills, typing with this finger
Looking at the 1VJ part fiche the calliper has its own part number (its not from a 55W) but i would imagine a 1VJ would fit & vice versa as the share the same lower fork tube.
We do not have a 55W part fiche mate so unable to cross reference the number, im guessing the 55 had it own unique calliper?? and the 1VJ must have been an improvement.

Geoff- where do you get your bearings from? I'm needing every bearing and bush in the rolling chassis. Do you quote all the part numbers to a bearing supplier?
Cheers Iain
