Alright guys, I've taken the plunge today.
I've had a pleasant afternoon in the workshop, stripped the 55 w down to a bare frame.
It came apart easily, I spent more time getting the bottom steering head bearing race out than I did taking the bike to bits.
All the red bits are ready to take to the powder coaters.
Now I am stuck- how do you get the suspension linkage out of the swingarm?. I've got the bolt out but there's a bush that seems to be holding it in.
