Which good/better handlebar for the 34L

Hi,

I had a very flat handlebar on it when I bought my bike, and recently put the original handlebar back on, but am not very happy with it... Not flat enough ? Not high enough ? I don't know what's wrong, but am sure there is much better to be found out there. From what I remember, the handlebar I had on my XT 500's were quite bent too, but maybe not as much. Also had a BMW R80 G/S before, on which the bar seemed to be a good compromise.

I am thinking a bout trying a more modern "enduro" bar, so not too flat and not too bent.

Well.....any suggestions ? Did you all keep the original handlebar, or did you experience the same problem ?

I ended up using a renthal set of bars that i think we're vintage/high bend if you hunt through the renthal numbers relative to the names they call them you should be able to find them..
Ideal for riding standing for me,possibly slightly far forward when sitting,but I've just accepted there's a big tank there and I've got short arms..

I run mostly CR high bends in Pro Taper 1-1/8" bars.

If you want to get a good idea of what bend would work good for you, get a friend over and sit on the bike and put your hands where they feel the most comfy. Have the other person measure width, how far back(bend back or sweep) and height (how high from center mounting cross bar) If you know the oem bars numbers you can just add to that from where you hands are when comfy.
