Can anyone shed light on this situation:
The mechanic who mends my bike told me that the replacement rear caliper that I bought on Ebay is actually a front.
Are the front and rear calipers the same?
Are they obviously different/completely incompatible?
The guy managed to adjust it to fit - is that possible?

3AJ's front and rear brake caliper are different.
If "the guy" managed to fit it, it seams to work.
Take a picture and post it, that we can see how he worked.
