Ah yes, but, we have traffic here..... 524 miles in nine & a half hours.... :sadnanna:
843km that's not bad going, you don't get much better than that traveling over here, 100kph (62.137mph) is the speed limit on most highways, some places you get 110kph (68.350mph) :ride:

I used to overtake coppers at 90mph on the motorway in the UK with me ladders on the roof of my old escort diesel van,
just do it nice & slow if the roads are clear and dry & they would turn a blind eye.

Over here they would spike your tires draw there guns or shoot you with a taser, then they would suspend your licence on the spot
and the next day you be in the paper with the title "Lunatic Tradie Does 144k Past Police With Ladders On Roof :rtfi:

Tenere 4

Has a fork brace, must have had a high front mudguard conversion

Centre stand, wonder if this was standard on Swiss/ Norwegian bikes

Image

Square headlamp

Vin plate, except its not a plate its a sticker, which I'm gonna lose when this frame is coated...

Also.... Tenere 3 frame went to powder coaters today... :funkynanna:

Yep its a swissun alright, easy to remove that light & fit a twin again just need the top part of the wiring loom (and i saw one recently on ebay). :sherlock:

That sticker will come off with a heatgun/hairdryer Geoff. :rtfi:

And the only difference (from what i read on HU) is the carb is set for lower emissions (jetting poss) fingers crossed the cam is the same.
Are you going to see if you can still get the factory centre stand for it Geoff? be handy eh.

The Swiss bikes were jetted for higher altitude (smaller jets). At sea level they would run a little lean.
I have the 3AJ & 3DS microfiche at work, so I will check out the cam part nos. on Monday.
