Eric
I got the set from TT.de site. They where cheaper than the ones offered on ebay.
Quality is good.BUT NOT AS THE ORIGINALS!Thats the reason I left the 34L shematics on my tank.
I got the biger size of MONO CROSS decals. They have also the black front for the cowling, etc.
They also take paypal.

Thanks Karl, I will order a set. Fixed the oil leak from the stator cover, it needed a slightly thicker o-ring on the 2 oil passages. Also the popping was coming from a small leak on the exhaust where the header pipe meets the muffler. Runs and idles sweet now.

Eric
30 for the big set(tank and side covers+front guard stripe)
Then 5 for the cowling(I did that myself)
4+4 each swing arm monocross
Total 43.-
The two black decals for the sidecovers........I would use paint,as original.

Spotted a good transmission on U.S Ebay, $50 for the lot. Arrived yesterday and is in mint condition just like the first set I bought.

Got to work on de-spoking the rear wheels, put some WD40 on the spokes a few days ago and all but 2 on both rears came undone! Need the hub from the newer wheel as the bearings are loose in the original. These pictures show how much stronger the Tenere rims are over the normal XT, check out how thick the sides are on the Tenere rim, Tenere rim on right in both pictures.

Most likely I will re-zinc the spokes.

Would love to use the beefier 21x1.85 later model rim but I can't lace the hub onto the rim as it only has 32 spokes compared to 36 on the Tenere or XT.

Also does any one have a easy way of getting the piston out of the caliper? Tried compressed air, was told to put a grease nipple in the bleed hole and pump it with a grease gun but can't find a 7mm grease nipple.Image

If that piston is shagged Eric you may as well tack a bolt & yank the bugger out with a bit of a twist action as well.. :dunno:

The re-zincing option is a good idea, Danny was well pissed off he just paid for a new set of of plain ol zinc spokes at $300. :bigeek:

Best way to get the piston out is to reconnect it to the master cylinder & pump it out with brake fluid. :thumb:
