Thanks for the link fred that looks like it I would need to double check length and whether the top of the stem has a bolt or a large chrome nut.
I may need to learn German or use a translator program haha

Righto good people bit of an update,after much searching I have found and taken delivery of an XT600E 2002 lower tripple clamp and stem.
I ended up buying the said part from a mob called "Pitstop Parts" in
Derbyshire England the bird I spoke to there couldn't help me enough
and I recieved the part in 8 days from the UK, as I am new to purchasing
items from overseas I felt that was quick postage
I have since had the bush made for the top tripple and also the new XT600E stem pressed into the WR lower tripple.
Did a test/dummy fit of the whole assembly and it fits beautifully thank
goodness hahaha of course it was going to fit
Righto so basically I have to disassemble the whole show again and clean
and regrease it all and fit it up.
Issues I have to rectify is
#1 Steering stop adjusters
#2 New ignition switch
#3 New front rotor/disc preferably 320mm floating Motard disc
#4 Low fender/mudguard to suit the WR forks
#5 Braided front brake line
Once those issues are sorted happy days

New update is that the WR forks are now all bolted on tight,few little hassles
I have been trying to sort out such as wheel spacer,speedo drive and brake caliper as well as a low fender.
Still working on the low fender,motard 320mm front rotor and a WR braided
brake line,plus rerouting various wires and lines.
Took it for a ride this arv not too far away,found a noticable difference
in the ability of the Tenere to power wheelie now with the lighter front end
Not that I would do that sort of thing

I have fitted up a high guard to mine.
I have a serious of photos on photobucket if your interested.
Looks better than the low guard IMO

Updated pics of the on going project,getting closer everyday looking forward to having it finished.
Scored a cheap(free) high mount mudguard of my brother and fitted a set of LED blinkers may not leave them in their current position see how I go.
Awaiting a oversize brake rotor and black fork guards in the mail.
Still have to sort out a WR brake line,pro taper hand guard clamps and stripped speedo drive gears.
And now it seems the inlet manifolds have started leaking pfffft fucking yamaha intake manifolds
