If it helps i have spoken to a chap called Richard at VJMC regarding the dating letter and he was very helpfull. I have submitted all the info to him so will keep you updated.

I registered a XS650 us import a few years back with a Nova. All went through smoothly with the DVLA. It's a great day when your hard work pays off and the V5C comes through!

It came with a recipe and thats it! I bought it as I "I will take it off your hands for x deal"

Up and running, dating paperwork filled in and sent off, certainly looks better with a little effort and the plastics fitted :wink2:
