1976? xt

Post by skunkwizard »

Mezo-
long time, I hope all is well. I'm still flogging the DR now & then and working on racecars.
my close friend dropped off his xt a long time ago. he works all over the states & wherever else there is a military base.

it was a rusted hulk and I had a chance to have at it over the summer. need to pick up some parts for it, just too frigging busy to pull it out of the shed.
the bottom pic shows an electric fence charger hooked up to keep the evil spirits away

Im glad you said that, the blue just doesn't go with the rest of the bike

At first i thought it was two different bikes (reading on the phone) then o the PC i realized it was the same bike.
Have you seen Tommy`s beautiful resto`s he`s done? keep it original on these classics now, only going up in value.

 I have to agree with Mezo im afraid, but it would be well worth taking back to original as they are going
up in price quite considerably in the States as well as over here in the UK, i saw an early UK bike go for just under
£9000 a while ago, though it did us a lot of NOS parts.

There's one for sale in Sth Aust.

Restored, but not a patch on Tommy's efforts.
"Don't worry," he said, "things could be worse ........."
So I stopped worrying and lo and behold, things did get worse!
