The next trip is already being prepared at least to a 3 year
will cross Portugal and Spain
ending in the south of France :yay:

But I have some problems, since there are very strict laws to ride with the bike off road :scratch:
I'm trying to understand what can and can not do
because the trip is going during the month of July
and from June to September is prohibited without permission to do off road in Spain :scratch:


But in February I'll do a little adventure of 700 miles or about 1000 km
within Portugal and with some snow :vardy:
go camping every year to the highest point of Portugal :vardy:

I have not heard that. Where have you seen that?

Every region of Spain has specific environmental laws. For example, in Castilla la Mancha and Madrid is completely forbidden ( :DICKHEAD: ). All year.
In Catalonia you cannot legally ride on roads less than 4m wide (which is impossible btw) ( :DICKHEAD: ).
In Aragon you can ride but you have to ask for permission to the regional governemnt to do so ( :DICKHEAD: ).
etc


But at the end, we still ride. The problem is a guard might see you and let you go and another guard stop you and fine you. Absolute lack of legal security. :headslap:

I touch wood, I have never had a problem. Its also how you ride. A reckless enduro rider has more chances of being stopped, because he is louder, rides faster and on more sensible single lane roads.

In southern France its true that in the summer months offroad is forbidden.

because they are written in a language different from mine ... and written in a way too confusing
