Hi guys,
Starting my 34L rebuild soon and I'm going to start with the front end. I was thinking about replacing the complete front end but I might just stick with the original and put new Wilbers springs in the shocks.
First up..... The front brake caliper. From what I know it's a single piston setup. So I'm either going to take it off and rebuild it or find something a bit better out there. Are there any twin piston calipers that will fit on the 34L?
Also I bought the Clymer for the "XT600 & TT600" - I presume there's not much different between the XT600 and XT600z Tenere so the manual should be ok?
Thanks,

The first run models of the 34L has a diferent caliper than later 55W and 1VJ models.I think by replacing the whole front suspension or you stick with yamaha parts like later XT 600 models.I don´t think the caliper alone will fit your 34L bottle.
Unless you make a adapter plate for bigger disc too?

OK cheers. Looks like I might be best to stick with what is there and just rebuild it. Might as well replace the hoses with something braided while I'm at it
