My too are declared manufacture in 1986 on the V5C. You need to push this even if it means getting a dating certificate out of Yamaha...tax and MOT charge free from Apr 27 !

If they don't, and I don't see why not, then you can pay £50 to get a dating letter from Yamaha. If the frame is stamped.
