Pop than backfires and a oil leak..
I was test driving my tenere 660 after getting her to run again, everything was fine until... I was driving down a sandy road and I heard a POP. After that she started backfiring every time you close the gas, very intensly. And she also idles like shit, doesn't quite die when hot atleast but runs completly shit. I also noticed after that some oil came from the tip of the engine, no idea if this was also direct cause of the pop but goddammit.. here's of photo of where she is leaking from. Hope anyone has a idea of whats going on.

Don’t suppose the tube has come off the coasting enricher or off the intake boots (or damage intake boots)? It’s gone super lean on coasting so likely sucking in air somewhere. The coasting enricher would be double whammy, it wouldn’t activate and limit the air, and if the tube is loose, would suck a large amount of air into the r/h carb. It would also be lean at normal revs of course if the pipe was off but not as bad as it would still be getting fuel from carb 1

Havent gotten the time yet to look into it, but now she doesn't start at all anymore again... also dropped the bike and broke a fairing.. definetly unluckiest ive ever been with a bike. Think I will fix it and try to sell it at a loss, because goddam its misery lol.

I wouldn’t give up on it. You’re on the wrong side of the hill at the mo, once you’ve peaked and found the faults, (or a garage does) it’ll be mega reliable and great fun.

Managed to fix her up! Ended up being the the little carb tube with the brass pin on it, that goes into the carb rubber intake.. it came loose riding, might put some glue on there to keep it in there. So thats all sorted out. Now its just that damn front fairing, might fix it might not. Its listed for sale so im gonna see if people are interested.
