Hi, can somebody help me with advice what bike and year is the best to swap front fork? Should I buy triple clamp from newer bike with holes for steering mount? I was looking on ktm sxf or exc wp fork I think this is the same as OTR sell WP MXMA4860.
My front hub cracked (don't know how is it possible) and also when I removed tire it showed rim crack.

For front end stuff have a look on my Dan's 1VJ resto mod.
I used a Yamaha YZ250 front end from the mid 1990s, although if you Google the various parts not much changed over a decade.
Using an MX front end gives a very rigid front end and four piston calipers, I also put a bigger diameter disc conversion on mine.
Basically the advice I would give is that you need to buy the most complete set of front suspension you can.
If you can buy one where they literally remove the top yoke nut and slide the bottom yoke out, buy it, with the wheel and brake set up.
I didn't and you'd be surprised how many little bits and pieces are needed to make a working front end.
Then you press out the steering shaft from the original XT yoke, press out the original MX shaft and if the old XT shaft doesn't need machining press it into your MX bottom yoke. In my case the shaft diameters were exactly the same.
Some issues you'll encounter:
Almost all MX type front ends have no provision for mechanical rotary speed take off, so you'll need to go electronic type speedo.
I doubt that the steering stops on the MX bottom yoke will restrict turning sufficiently so that the fork legs will damage the big Tenere tank, so you'll have to fabricate steering stops that stop this happening.
The front brake master cylinder off the MX bike more than likely won't have a provision for a brake light, so you can either utilize a pressure sensor or change the master cylinder for a different one bearing in mind you'll need to keep the ratio the same.
