G'day all. Can anyone point in the right direction on where to buy new or used rims for an 84 Ténéré?
Alternatively can rims from other makes/models of motorcycles be used in conjunction with my hubs and spokes as long as they are the same width and have the same number of spokes?
I'd like to get the Ténéré registered for the road but the wheels are the last thing holding it back. Front is bent and cracked. Rear looks straight but has some deep scrapes.

I updated your profile location to Australia (hope that`s correct) up the coast is Ash's Spoked Wheels or on FB https://www.facebook.com/ashsspoked.wheelz/ he`s good but not cheap, but quality work is never cheap is it?
You can buy gold rims from Thailand, i think Dan did this many years ago on his 34L (39E) rebuild & there were fitment issues (but that was ten years back) as for used & what will swap over i`ll leave that to other commentators as i`m unsure & don`t want to give the wrong advice.

Just be careful on selecting your rims - the YAMAHA XT RIMS are quite stepped. i flatter shapped rim will leave the spoke length a little short.
