Under headlight oil cooler

Anybody, other than Yamaha and Sonauto works teams, put an oil cooler under the headlight? Works style.

Should have said, never seen one other than pukka pd bikes, ie: aftermarket. Would look 'cool', but may be more hassle than it's worth.

What would be helpful is a naked shot from the front, without the fairing, or knickers, or bra........maybe.........I've been locked up too long.........

They certainly look the part, and got to be more effective than the standard location.
David Lambeth reckons with modern oils the oil coolers can be removed.
As Jibber said a photo sans bikini would be nice to confirm the location and brackets involved. The pipe work is fairly straightforward just longer version of what's there. I have a mate who's a fabricator so we may be able to replicate some of that Sonauto loveliness....

There was a Dutch guy on here years ago who was thinking of doing the same with an oil cooler from a Citroen 2CV, but when you search OIL COOLER on Google your spoilt for choice, its a lot of work just for coolness factor.

I have had one sitting in my parts bin that I was going to put on my 2kf I had 15 years ago... then I was going to put it on my TT350 10 years.... still sitting in the parts bin maybe I should put it on my 43F....

XR400 cooler looks like it might be worth a try. I'll have to keep trawling ebay
