43F XT600 wiring bundle routing behind headlight

Post by Team_Yamaha50 »

Hello all,

Would you guys know the proper routing for the wiring bundle behind the headlight on the 43F XT600?

I tried a different way but don't seem to work out at all and on clymers manual they didn't illustrate about it. Any help would be great thanks.

IF you can find an OEM service manual for the 43F they all show cable routing.

EDIT: Hang on, this has been asked before HERE now i scanned an XT600 diagram by mistake which means i have it somewhere.

Hello Mezo,

I have a clymer manual however it's useless when comes to wiring routing :fall:

It would be great if you could scan me the wiring routing page on the OEM service manual please :book:

This is for a 34L & id guess its the same as a 43F, did you see on the link where the main loom goes under the bottom yoke? sandwiched between that & the mudguard?

Cracking job by Mezo - Jack just remember not to over do the loom tape and heat shrink...I over did mine which resulted in the loom not being flexible enough when trying to put headlight back in.
