Iv'e just treated myself with a "new" TT600s & i'm thrilled to get it running again (already have two running machines), the bike was stored for about 10 years, its mechanical status should be ok, engine seems to move freely.
Starting with the carburetor, I found the worse pile of $#@* i ever seen, it was packed with white thick coating, concrete to the touch, which i assume was fuel back in the day.
I already managed to remove 80% of it by using hours of ultrasonic cleaner and several different carb cleaners, however, the last layer seemed like it been merged into the aluminum body.
To all of you who experienced with restoration, any ideas ?
