Just bought a running '81 TT 250 for $400 USD today. Not sure why to be honest. It is a nice little bike that's definitely better suited for the trails out here in Utah but I also just bought a 1980 XT500 to fix up as well.

The old tank rotted so the previous owner put this xt tank on which looks great i think. I am the third owner.

Going to do some simple stuff like chain, sprockets, clutch, carb rebuild and fork seals and maybe keep it or maybe flip it. In the right market these vintage small engine dual sports bikes sell for upwards of $1500!

Got the 500 last month for $750 which is a great deal. A friend of mine bought a '78 xt500 in 2000 for $750 and sold it last year for $2500. If done up right they can go for more. I just want something i can thrash around a little bit more than the big 600 so I'll keep it kinda ratty for the trails.
