We will have to change the name in due course as we find thumpers are being replaced by the multi cylinder bikes- a good ride/time was had -In a nutshell we ride out from various points and meet up at Koedoeskloof outside Ladismith here in the western cape on friday - have good time talk nonsense ride our bikes through saturday and sunday pack up and go home again. Most of us sleeping in tents with friday nights temp prediction being 1deg celsius and snow on the mountains you sometimes wonder why do we do that

Rode out with mates on GS 800 and 1150

setting up tents on friday afternoon


used the Moss bike that was saved out of the hedge where it was left for many years- purred along nicely with the front wheel just just touching the ground as it was loaded with all t shirts and prizes for the w/end

With the cold temperatures a huge fire and plenty beverages kept the guys up till pretty late-crappy CAT phone pics did not quite do the job


it was f ing cold as they say but saturday - guys up early for breakfast

saturday night was 3 deg warmer and we had a nice prize giving and then a braai afterwards.







Tired bodies woke to a bright and clear sunday morning but with a chance of rain and lower temps again on the way back we were up early and hit the road back

new mate Fine art teacher at university of CT Johan joined us on the way back with as his 660 only had 1st 4th,5th-lots of the 660 Teneres have these problems i believe
