This morning I had the first ride on my newly recond Tenere,to say I was some what pleasantly surprised is an under statement.Riding a bike that is 31yrs old I was taken by the handling and smoothness of the riding position.This is first time ive ever owned a Yamaha single and was impressed by the way the bike had been developed,back in 1987 it must have been quite cutting edge.Having always riden KTMs including competing on KTM Rallye bikes in various UK and Foreign events,the old Tenere was a pleasure to ride this morning.
Once I had mastered the dark art of putting photos on the site I will post some photos of the old thumper.
