Motoforms Tank Fitment on a 55W

If anyone has a Motoforms (44 litre) tank on a 55W, I'd love to see the fitment and if any modifications are necessary to the frame.

If you scroll down about 3/4 of the way, theres a 34l wearing a big Motoforms tank (I think), not a lot else out there

Unless somebody chimes in i think you`re going to have to suss this it out yourself, only advice i can give is to make sure there is adequate foam on the backbone of the frame to support the extra heavy load (approx 36kg) spread the load evenly so as not to crack the tank.

I would suggest fixing the seat in its correct location & then offer up the tank so it matches (no gap) then remove the seat & fabricate a rear fixing & the front fixing, on the original tank they are bolted at the rear & the front is located in to the two rubber bungs which stops it lifting.

Those are your two main challenges (stopping it lifting) especially if you drop the bike on its side, post some pics of the underside of the tank so we can advise.
