Screens
I’ll be using the bike for some long-ish rides (200 miles) and am considering a screen to reduce buffeting at higher speeds on motorways etc. Firstly, does anyone have any feedback on currently available screens for the 3yf... and also, is there compatibility with the twin headlight models?

Re: Screens
I used EAGLE SCREENS in Perth (Western Australia) for both my Tenere & Ducati, he ships all over the world, two different heights & with "wings" if you require & any tint you like.
Closer to home? PM Geoff & ask where he gets his made.

Re: Screens
I’m a bit unclear about whether the Slipscreen touring screen listed will fit my 3yf. I called the guy to talk to him and he asked me to send a picture of mine, which I did. I’m waiting to hear back but I just thought I would ask you guys the question...
Is the screen common to both the single headlight XTZ and the later twin headlight versions? If so, then I should be fine.

Re: Screens
I don't think they are the same? not 100% though,

Re: Screens
Thanks, Mezo. That doesn’t look too hopeful but is the 3AJ screen the same for the 3YF?
I’ll put the information from the listing in...

Hi Rich
I use the MPS website (www.motorcyclespareparts.eu) to check for parts crossover compatability.
According to site they are both part number 3yf283810000.

Re: Screens
Thanks for that. A friend with an XTZ told me that he had bought his bike with a longer screen and that he had cut it down as it appeared to him that the extra strain on the top fairing was breaking it. He cut it down.StuM wrote: Sun Mar 25, 2018 12:36 pm Hi Rich

Having put a few miles on mine now, I feel like a decent screen might make a big difference to comfort on tedious fast roads but my fairing has seen quite a lot of repair work already.
I’m thinking that before I get a screen, I’ll do some reinforcement of the fairing to brace the bolting area.

Re: Screens
+1. I have a SlipScreens screen on my 3YF. It's decent, and very reasonably priced.
