Has anyone fit an Acerbis Cowl to their Tenere XT600Z?

Curious if anyone has mounted a vintage Acerbis Africa Cowl to their XT?
It has shades of the Belgarda cowl used on the Dakar bikes. Looks like it may give more wind protection...

I have not seen one fitted, but have seen a few on E Bay, do you really like the look of it?

Not so much, but looking for something to give a bit more protection from wind, and rain for a long trip.
Also if I end up putting a plexiglass screen on it, then I'm not butchering the original cowl.
I have taken a chance on one, so will post photos of it if I actually fit it.

It also has a Halogen Light, which may be stronger.
Probably need a relay on it....

OR I may modify to fit a larger headlight I have kicking around from an old 1100 GS - the space on the Acerbic cowl looks as though it would accept it.

At first blush it does not look too bad. Will certainly give more wind protection, and will be easy to put on a small windscreen giving even more...

Will have to fabricate some fasters to replace the OEM blinker attachment point.

The bottom should thread directly into their usual attachment points.

Will update progress as I sort it out.
